Dial Security and Dial Communications began in 1974. Headquartered in Camarillo, CA., Dial primarily provides services throughout the Central Coast region of California encompassing the counties of Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, San Luis Obispo, Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange. We do have accounts as far south as San Diego, CA and as far north as Anchorage, Alaska!
Beginning as a Security Guard and Patrol service Dial quickly discovered opportunities in related industries. Working initially with Commercial customers it was a natural move for Dial Security to branch into Burglar and Fire Alarm systems. The sale, service and installation of security systems has expanded to the Residential market as well. Customers have found that Dial offers many advantages not typically found in a Security Company such as our own 24/7 Central Station where we provide in-house monitoring of alarm systems.
Additional growth of Dial occurred in Communications. One unexpected consequence of offering Patrol services was the need to easily communicate with the Officer. 2-Way Radio provided the solution. From that beginning Dial embraced a growing technology in providing communication services to customers. Dial offers mobile and portable 2-way radio solutions to customers in the fields of Public Safety, Police, Fire Protection, Industrial, Commercial and Agricultural.
Communications growth did not begin and end for Dial with 2-way radios. Having become experienced in the running of wire and cable through our alarm installations Dial was able to venture into the business telephone market. Dial has been installing telephone systems for more years than anyone can remember including back when telephones used a rotary dial plate. Today, Dial is working with the new Voice /IP technology in providing low cost business solutions to customers.
Finally and probably not the last growth opportunity for Dial is our own Dial Long Distance(DLD) a provider of business long distance telephone services. In operation since 1993 DLD has grown from a staff of 5 to one of 20 and provides services to customers throughout the western United States.
